Review: March: Book One

March: Book One March: Book One by John Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The first book in the graphic autobiography series chronicles the early life and beginnings of the Civil Rights activism of Congressman John Lewis. Through his eyes, readers experience the profound role that education had on his life, as well as the calling he felt toward taking action (through non-violence) in the Jim Crow south. A powerful story for all ages.
