My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ginny is fourteen years old, lives with her forever mom and forever dad in her forever home, and she is autistic. Through Ginny's voice, readers learn about her present life with her adoptive parents, but also about her abusive and traumatic past with her birth mother, Gloria. Even though five years have passed since Ginny was ripped from her home, she still obsesses over her Baby Doll that she left behind. It is through this obsession that Ginny slowly divulges the truth about her life with Gloria as well as the struggles of daily life for an autistic teen and those who care about her.
Ginny is a character who is endearing, frustrating, and memorable.
