Review: Faceless

Maisie had it all going for her...a great boyfriend, plans for college, a best friend who was amazing. But in a split second it all changed. While finishing up a morning run, a freak accident happens and Maisie finds herself waking up from a medically induced coma almost a month later with half of her face singed completely away. A miracle surgery can give her a life back, but it isn't all that she or her parents hope.

A serious topic with potential, but Maisie's character just didn't resonate with me. Her "woe is me" attitude and constant whining, may be realistic is such a case, but it was just too much for this reader.
