Easily Create Newsletters in Google Slides

I've had many teachers ask me how to create newsletters using Google apps. We've tried Docs, but it just doesn't make formatting easy. We've tried third-party apps like Lucidpress, but for most, it's just too full-featured. Little did I know, the answer has been there all along.  Within Google Slides, users can customize the size of slides, allowing them to change to a standard 8 1/2 x 11 size that's perfect for newsletters. For anyone who's been looking for a Publisher-like tool in the Google Apps for Education suite - this is it! Thanks to the Google Gooru for this great tip!
