The Martian by Andy Weir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I never thought a book about an astronaut stranded on Mars would have me flipping pages with anticipation, but I was clearly wrong. Mark Watney's humor, MacGyver-like ingenuity, and sheer smarts make him one of the most refreshing characters I've encountered in some time. A must read!
