Review: We Beat the Street: How a Friendship Pact Led to Success

We Beat the Street: How a Friendship Pact Led to Success
We Beat the Street: How a Friendship Pact Led to Success by Sampson Davis

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

An inspiring tale of how three young men, growing up in dismal situations, managed to overcome the odds and achieve success beyond their dreams. Told through snapshots of how each man learned and grew when faced with instances of violence, poverty, and negative peer-pressure, the story is accessible and relevant to teens today.
