I consider myself a power-Google user, and in the past, this has created some issues for me. I used to have to login/logout of my work/home accounts to jump back and forth. For some time now, I've been using the Manage Multiple Users feature within Chrome. This allows me to be simultaneously logged in to multiple Google Accounts on the same computer without having conflict issues.
This feature also allows you to create desktop shortcuts for each account. At home, my family members each have a home Google Account, and my kids also have school accounts, and we all have our own personal shortcuts so there's no confusion!
*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ONLY APPLIES TO LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS - NOT CHROMEBOOKS!
The tutorial below will walk you through the process of setting up multiple accounts.
